As the Kids Grow, So Does Our Travel Radius

Contrary to what Instagram might suggest, most families aren’t hopping on flights across the ocean every summer. International travel takes serious planning, saving, and commitment. Around here, we like to think of ourselves as international-light travelers—where a trip to Mexico feels like a huge adventure. As the kids get older and more capable—handling longer flights, carrying their own backpacks, and navigating new languages—our travel radius is slowly expanding. And if you ever see a major trip on here, I can guarantee it’ll be because we spent a year (or more) dreaming, planning, and saving money for it first.
